Tom Thompson is a Senior Procurement Counselor in the Westminster office of Colorado APEX Accelerator. Mr. Thompson is a proud Colorado Native with more than 40 years as a procurement professional with the City of Longmont and Colorado APEX Accelerator. Tom is a Certified Professional Procurement Buyer (CPPB) and a lifetime member of the National Institute of Government Professionals (NGIP).
Tom holds the Association of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (APTAC) Level III Certified Contracting Assistance Specialist/Certified Procurement Professional (CCAS/CPP). Tom is a VA Certified Veterans Counselor and a GSA Schedule expert. Tom’s extensive experience allows him to assist and advise small businesses in all aspects of local/state/federal government procurement.
