During her 8 years in the Legislature, Su distinguished herself as a champion of veterans, teachers and small business.  She chaired the pivotal State, Veterans & Military Affairs Committee, and passed the bill to codify the partnership between Colorado APEX Accelerator and the State of Colorado.
