About

Chris Martinez is currently a Senior Counselor with Colorado PTAC.  He recently retired from Hispanic Contractors of Colorado (HCC) as their Executive Director, a non-profit Construction Trade organization that historically provides networking, leadership development and education opportunities for small and large businesses.    Prior to HCC, Chris worked for Mayor Michael Hancock, as a Senior Advisor in Denver’s Office of Economic Development where he managed the Small Business Development Division.  He also worked for the Human Rights and Community Planning Agency for the City of Denver, where he served as the liaison from the Mayor’s Office for Denver Neighborhoods. 

Chris had a 35-year career in the Federal Reserve Bank System. His duties included procurement, training, sales and marketing.  Chris also has over 40 years of experience as a community, education, and political activist.  He also has a long history of involvement with non-profit, community and civic organizations.  Chris also served 8 years as a Board Member for the Regional Transportation District, two terms as Chairman of the Board.
