Beth Ann Taylor is currently the Deputy Director for Colorado APEX Accelerators (formerly Colorado Procurement Technical Assistance Centers).  Prior to her position with APEX, Beth was the Vice President of Economic Development for the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC.  Beth’s extensive experience in economic development made her an ideal fit to assist in running the state APEX program.  During her tenure with the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC, Beth was instrumental in growing the primary job market in the Pikes Peak region, successfully bringing hundreds of jobs to Colorado and developing a deep understanding of the state’s economic landscape.

Before joining the Chamber & EDC, Taylor worked for the Governor’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) in an appointed position in Western Colorado during Governor Bill Ritter’s term.  As a Business Development Manager for the State, Beth focused primarily on Western Colorado’s 22 counties.  Her role involved community outreach, disseminating information on state economic development programs and incentives, and working closely with the PTAC program in Colorado.  She collaborated with economic development partners and organizations on various regional issues and activities, including program and technical assistance, prospect development, and providing current economic and demographic data.  Beth also served as a business liaison with local Chambers of Commerce and government entities and was part of the transition team for Governor Hickenlooper’s Colorado Blueprint strategy for statewide economic development.

Beth has more than 15 years of experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industry, managing multi-million-dollar portfolios.  She graduated Cum Laude from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, with a degree in Communication and a minor in Psychology, and is certified in conflict management.  Beth and her husband Bruce enjoy hiking, cross-country skiing, traveling, and all the outdoor activities that Colorado offers.  They have five adult children and six grandsons.
