John Papile Joins Colorado APEX Accelerator as a PTAC Counselor providing small businesses with the tools they need to be successful in marketing and selling to the Government and Industry. Before Joining APEX, John Served as a 1102 Federal Contracting Officer with The USDA procuring digital services through a $10m FAC-C-DS warrant. Prior to the USDA, John served for 30 years in United States Army. He served first as a Blackhawk Helicopter Pilot, then in a variety of positions culminating with his assignment to the National Guard Bureau HQ, where he managed financial, logistical, and Federal contracting enterprises for the National Guard. John Brings a wealth of experience in procurement actions and providing acquisition support with socioeconomic considerations involving all levels of businesses, including small businesses (e.g., Service-disabled Veteran-owned Small Business, Woman-owned Small Business, HUB Zone Small Business, and 8(a). John has a master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain management from Syracuse University with a focus on process improvement.
